After a lifetime of admiring the majesty of this building, Dr. "Pin" Dobarganes finally acquired the property. Despite its advanced state of disrepair, his love for architecture and his city drove him to dedicate years of effort and resources to rescuing the structure from ruins.

With the restoration complete, the mansion became the home of the Dobarganes family. For 20 years, Dr. Pin, his wife Bárbara, and their children breathed new life into the courtyards and corridors, creating a legacy of family memories that can still be felt in every corner.

The House of the Marquis of Jaral de Berrio
The story begins with the construction of this stately residence by order of the Marquis of Jaral de Berrio, one of the most influential men in New Spain. Together with his wife, the Countess of Valparaíso, he transformed these walls into a symbol of power, elegance, and the viceregal prosperity that defined San Miguel de Allende.
2000 - 2020
The Guardian of the Legacy

After Dr. Pin's death, Mrs. Barbara devotedly assumed the role of guardian of the manor house. For another two decades, she and her children maintained the historical character and essence of the property, protecting its heritage for future generations.

To ensure long-term structural preservation, the Correo 25 mixed-use project was conceived in collaboration with VEXUS Real Estate.
